Monkey Mountain!!

The girls and I had a great time hanging out with our Guatemalan playgroup friends at Monkey Mountain this past weekend. The kids all wore themselves out running and climbing and playing.... like MONKEYS!!!

Amaya was a little standoffish for awhile (like the first couple hours!!) and only wanted to cling to Mommy, but after people started to leave and the crowd thinned out she was all ready to play.

We got several inches of snow overnight and the girls were delighted that it was Saturday and that we could spend the morning playing in the fresh new powder. So after breakfast we bundled up and headed out...

Snow Day!

About a week ago we got our first measurable snowfall (just a couple of inches) and with the very cold temperatures it stayed around for several days. SO, the girls had a chance to play in it (briefly before getting sick... again!)
